Posify is a positioning and measurement system by GPS. The equipment consists of a portable logger connected to an external magnetic antenna.
The logger records raw measurements to the GPS satellites in files that can be downloaded by USB onto a computer, to be sent to the Posify server. Measurements are processed in differential mode with respect to the nearest GPS reference stations.
Posify finds out wether the file corresponds to a static measurement (point), or to a measurement in motion (line or polygon), and calculates coordinates, trajectories, distances and areas accordingly.
